More Vista misery
Did I mention this before ? I have reinstalled Vista using the CDs that came with the computer. It's as fresh as it gets. The control panel does not work, it appears then disappears. I can run the control panel items if I know their names, but the control panel itself is simply gone.

Had the same thing happen years ago on a fresh Vista install, highly annoying. Seems to me it was something to do with nvidia drivers but don't recall exactly what needed to be done to correct it. SP1? or different drivers...
ReplyDeleteOthers say something to do with the Software Licensing service not running, but I'm pretty sure I never had to mess with that.
I'm thinking SP1 fixed it for me, best of luck with yours...
